The story of Waters Care

Our company is proudly named after the late Alan Waters who sadly passed away during the pandemic in 2020. Alan was a close friend and colleague of many and a proud family man and a dear father to his children.

In a career in childcare spanning around 7 years, Alan had worked his way through the ranks and his commitment to the young people was unquestionable, working every hour under the sun if it meant making a difference. This attitude was infectious and he always brought the best of people, and not afraid to challenge others for the greater good.

His last role was as a service manager overseeing several children's homes. His ability to develop staff and managers was invaluable and I'm sure many reading this will agree. Alan touched the life of many on that sad day in December 2020 not long after his 50th birthday.

Our values will be centred around some of his key strengths such as being fun, caring, determined and resilient. Alan wanted the best for all the young people he cared for.

Alan and Waters Care company director Mark worked together for several years together, becoming close friends and colleagues during this time.

We are honoured that his name and legacy lives on and he will never be forgotten.
